How can I learn to let go and stop micromanaging?
Speaker 2: (00:05)
So this one is, is, is gold because if people can do this, then their lives are going to change. Their businesses will be more effective. Their lives will be more relaxed. And the simple way of doing this is doing that. Actually listen to the question you've actually asked. It's an instruction, in actual fact. And the way that you can do it is by trusting people. I suggest you probably don't want to trust them with the crown jewels to start with. So pick something small, something that you can take or leave. Something that would be beneficial if it works, but it's not going to kill you if it goes wrong. And just look at what it's like to let go, let someone have autonomy. Let someone prove to you what they can bring to the table. Be there to support them. They're not going to get everything right. Don't expect things of them seek an agreement with that person about how you're going to act. And just see how that feels. Letting people have that autonomy, and pleasantly surprising you, because you've only agreed 'this much' and they've done so much more. It's, it's powerful. Get that, get comfortable with it. You'll start seeing you can do this with more and more important things and your life will change.
