Is storytelling and important skills to have as a leader? And if so, why?
Speaker 2: (00:04)
Yeah, for me, it absolutely is. The biggest example I would give is a story that's brought to my attention by Daniel Pink which is about how all the Pixar cartoons got sold. So you see things like Finding Nemo in the like, you know, they're very long cartoons, very successful. But how do you convince a board to go with you and invest millions of pounds in that preparation? And they did it in a very simple way. They basically did Twitter stories where they had no more than 140, 150 words where they gave specific information in a certain way that helped people understand the start, middle, end, what we're looking to achieve out of it. I'll happily expand on that in more details if someone wants to reach out to me specifically. But absolutely it's so powerful. And every single Pixar movie that we see now, happened to be gained and funded by telling a very short story and a very powerful one.
