Obviously, it's not as simple as what I'm going to say, but it's through communication. There needs to be effective ways of mediating your two different views because you will both have something to bring. We cannot allow hierarchy to get in the way, and we cannot allow strength of character to get in the way. So there needs to be a way that we can have equal and fair communication between the two people. Because blended together. It could be ridiculously powerful. Honestly, I can't stress or over emphasise that enough. If you're clashing with someone that is such a good thing, if we can get you over it. Because there's probably differences of opinions that can be merged and make a massive impact on whatever it is you're looking to achieve.
