How would you go about planning a task?
Speaker 2: (00:04)
So the first thing that I would recognise is I have a goal in mind. I have something that's clear to me that I, you know, I have an outcome, in actual fact. That I will think initially is a goal, but then I quickly realise it's an outcome. And it's an outcome of a whole number of actions. So I will look at where do I want to be? What is the reason that I'm doing this particular task or this particular project. And then I want to work my way back and I will look at all the various actions I believe I'm going to need to take to get to that outcome that I had initially thought was a goal. And I would implore people to look at the GROW model. I'm not going to go over it now, but it's very easy. If you Google it, you'll find out what it is. The GROW model is a fantastic way to plan your daily, weekly, monthly, yearly tasks.
