As a business leader, what's one thing I can do to make sure change is implemented in my organisation?

Speaker 2: (00:07)
Yup. This is, this is big. So this is where I'm moving to what I call aftercare. The likelihood is in some way, shape or form, there'll be some, some training or some communication that you, you wish people to follow. So the first thing is make sure that people are involved in that process from the start and through the finish, make sure that they are engaged, make sure that they're listened to and you feedback your thoughts on, on what they've suggested, even if you're not acting on it. But then once it's seen to be complete, don't just assume it's going to happen. Then assume adoption. You are going to have to work on the aftercare. You're going to have to make sure that this becomes the mantra of your, of your company, of your organization. And you can't do that from a position of telling them what to do and telling them what to believe in. And these are our values, you will align to it because then they won't. They will be the many disengaged employees who come in and sleep, sleep, walk through work and life. You don't want that. You want them to be actively engaged and if that's what you want, then you have to actively engage them. So, like I say, if it's training or if it's values or whatever it might be. Consider, how are you going to continue to keep them engaged on this for months to come? Not the day after you've launched it.
