I get asked this quite a lot and it does, it surprises me. But it shouldn't do, cause I know, I've been in this position in the past myself. Ask. I know that seems really, almost immature and childish, but it's not. You know, simply ask but ask with an intention to listen. So don't do one of these sort of staff survey things. Ask openly and don't criticise someone if they say something that surprises you or you're not happy with. Because that's the first way to ensure they never ever raise anything ever again. So honestly ask. Ask genuinely and don't criticise.
